Skin Care / Face Care


Our skin has been classified in three types according to Ayurveda

Vata skin- Dry, cold and rough skin with a tendency of premature graying.

Pitta skin - Warm and delicate skin with a tendency of acne ,freckles and sunburn.

Kapha skin -  Moist and  oily skin with thick pores.

The ayurvedic beauty care is thus classified accordingly in order to provide best results.


Hair Care


Simmilarly, the Hair care is also taken care of according to the type of  skin of the people.Many people have hair loss and premature graying of hair or dandruff and other related complaints. Mental stress, Anxiety, Tension, certain hormonal imbalance  are all the main causes of these problems.


According to Ayurveda Dandruff is caused due to aggravation of Vata while hair fall and premature graying of hair is caused due to aggravation of Pitta.


The hair treatment done is a good way of nourishing the hair. It can be done using a colouring conditioner for grey hair and a non colouring conditioner for normal hair.


Eye Care


Eye care-  Eyes are also considered to be of three types the big eyes with thick eye lashes is  Kapha eyes, sharp sensitive and light red eyes are Pitta eyes,   small and dry eyes are Vata eyes.


Tarpanam is the best treatment to improve vision and maintain the eye vision . It also helps in the under eye circles.




Shirodhara  is considered the best way of relaxation.


Massages according to the different skin types using different oils is the best way to nourish and relax the skin.


Shirodhara is a purifying and rejuvenating therapy designed to eliminate toxins and mental exhaustion as well as relieve stress and any ill effects on the central nervous system. Shirodhara is a unique form of ancient therapy of pouring oil on the forehead from a specific height and for a specific period continuously and rythmatically allowing the oil to run through the scalp and into the hair.  This is a subtype of Murdha taila which means keeping the medicated oil on the head region.




Udvartanam (Exfoliation massage) is the best way to control your weight ,reduce the cellulites and remove the dead skin.


 Ayurvedic Lifestyle to keep you glowing :

  • Drink plenty of water.

  • Try not to get constipated.

  • Eat fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables.

  • Have fruits rich in vitamin C for healthy gums.

  • Avoid fried and spicy food.

  • Perform meditation or Yoga in order to remain stress free.

  • Use mild cleansers to clean your body.

  • Try to go to bed early and rise early.

  • Avoid microwaving and boiling your food as it looses its antioxidants when cooked in this manner,

  • Have light easy to digest protein rich food like mung dal, paneer, lassi, buttermilk.

  • Massage the scalp at least twice a week with medicated oils like bhringraj, japakusum or amla oil .


Home remedies to stay beautiful for ever:

  • Hair care

  1. Wash your hair with amla, shikakai, methika , nagarmotha herbs.

  2. Apply aloe vera pulp to the scalp to enrich the hair roots.

  3. For Itchy scalp take 1 teaspoon of camphor mix it with half a cup of coconut oil (store in glass container) and then massage it on the scalp before bed time. This is also a good remedy to get rid of dandruff in the hair.

  4. For premature graying of hair prepare a mixture of henna powder,bhringraj powder, amla powder, black sesame seed powder, curd, fenugreek seed powder, coffee, mint juice and basil juice. Apply this paste to the hair. Leave  for two hours and then wash your hair with water. Do not shampoo the same day. Shampoo the hair on the next day.  


  • Pimples

  1. Apply the paste of fenugreek leaves on face and wash when it dries.

  2. Apply a paste made from cumin seeds.

  3. Before going to bed, wash the face thoroughly and then apply a paste of coriander juice mixed with a pinch of turmeric powder.

  4. A paste made from sandalwood powder and turmeric with milk, is very good for pimples.

  5. A paste of nutmeg and water is also beneficial.

  • Teeth

  1. For discoloured teeth massage gums with salt and lemon juice.

  • Cracks on heels

  1. Apply a mixture of warm bee wax and sesame oil on the heel, it helps in heeling them fast.

  • Wrinkles

  1. Massage the face with ghee, almond oil or coconut oil before going to bed.

  2. Use grated cucumber in a face pack.

  3. Apply fresh aloe Vera gel to the skin.

  • Unwanted facial hair

  1. Mix turmeric powder and wheat flour and make a paste with sesame oil. Apply it to the face to remove unwanted hair.

Stains/ blemishes

  1. Regular application of mint juice to the face helps to remove stains.

  2. Mix equal quantities of lime juice, glycerin and rose water. This lotion if applied to the face regularly at bed time is very useful in removing pimples, blackheads and other stains of the skin.
